At Park, we encourage everyone to participate in a small group, as this is Park's central strategy for spiritual growth and developing the rich community life that God intends for His church. Small groups are communities of six to twelve people that meet in homes, condos, and apartments throughout Chicago, and our network of more than 150 small groups serves as the primary way to connect with others in community.

Although small groups study the Bible, they aren't just Bible studies - they are places for worship, service, prayer, and reaching out to our friends. Through studying the Bible, serving, and praying together, small group members find the mutual support, practical love, and encouragement to grow.

We have groups for men, women, married couples, moms, dads, and more. Groups meet in various neighborhoods on various days and times.

How do I join a Small Group?

By Invitation: Someone you meet in church or at a church-related activity may invite you to his or her group. Don't be afraid to ask people at Park about their groups. You can start by asking people where they meet and what they are studying. Many groups are open to receiving new members.

Who Should Become a Small Group Leader?

Small Group Leaders are the frontline of pastoral care at Park. Because small groups are the optimal place for life-change, small group leaders are the most important leaders in the life change process. They serve to disciple, shepherd, and develop Park's members. We desire our leaders to have high moral character, spiritual maturity and integrity through their walk with Christ.
